Juice, pressed when you order it

Bottled juice sits. Fresh juice is made when you ask for it, which is the entire difference in taste and the reason ours takes a few minutes longer than a soda. There is no shortage of coffee within ten minutes of Lincoln and almost nowhere pressing fruit to order, and that gap is most of the reason the cold side of the menu here runs to more than twenty drinks rather than the usual orange and apple.

The nine

Vimto, Lemonade, Lemon Mint, Blue Hawaiian, Mango, Pineapple, Orange, Strawberry and the house Cocktail juice, which is a mix of what is best that week. Lemon Mint is the one to order on a hot afternoon. Vimto is the one that surprises people who did not grow up with it: a dark berry cordial that is a staple across the Middle East and South Asia, sharp and unlike anything else on an American juice menu. Orange and pineapple are exactly what they should be when the fruit was cut an hour ago. Prices are on the menu below.

Not a supplement bar

This is whole-fruit juice made to order, not wheatgrass shots or cold-pressed bottles with a label. The fruit is the same fruit that goes into the fruit salads and the smoothies, cut fresh in the shop. Ask for no added sugar and you get pressed fruit and nothing else.

The rest of the cold bar

If you want the juice blended with milk, or blended with ice into a Smoothie Freeze, those are on the smoothies page. If you want it built into a long drink with mint, lime and soda, that is the mocktail bar. Between the juices, the juices with milk, the smoothies and the mocktails there are more than forty cold drinks to work through before you get to the coffee, and none of them contain alcohol.

Jugs of fresh juice for a gathering are straightforward; it is usually the harder half of a dry event to get right, and it is what we cater most after the sweets trays. Ask through the catering page.
